Very Soft Wire, Good Color

This wire has a nice color- black with iridescent, blue/purple undertones. It is however, very, very soft, and work hardening it dulls the lovely finish. It is labeled 18 gauge, but really seems closer to a 20 gauge wire. I had thought I would use it for jump rings for chain maille, but I felt it is too soft for that. It does wrap very nicely, however, so I am changing my plans and will use it for bead work.
